I will be the first person to say I have never been big on politics. Perhaps it is because I feel when it comes to those in politics and what goes on in Washington they are right up there with Hollywood and rich & famous.. They have no clue and sure as hell don't seem to play by the same rules as most of the hard working people in America that help to make their lives so comfortable and easy. For example, I don't understand how it is that some of the people in this country don't have to pay their fair share of the burden of our countries debt.. As a home-maker I have to budget my money and pay my bills or I lose every thing and can end up on the street or in jail... But not the government, and why is that the ones making all the decisions get their pay checks and those that have worked all their lives and even served to protect this country might go without.
I have a feeling that if they were told that come August 2nd you don't have a plan and raise the debt ceiling well guess what , you won't get a pay-check until it is done and if you choose not to work, well then here is your pink slip.. Yes, I know you might say I am over simplifying things, but BS it is just that simple.. Cut out the extras and everybody pay their fair share... It won't get us out of debt over night...hell we didn't get into this overnight and most of all if we have no money then stop loaning out to other countries what we can't even do for our own here at home... Starting to worry a good deal more about my government doing far more damage then any terrorist from some other country, cause at the rate we are going they just have to sit back and watch us self destruct...while their friends and family members work in factories that once employed families here in America.. I think if our forefathers that founded this Great land could see the mess it is in now, they would be ashamed and in tears over what is going on now.
